Our goal to share
By 2050, we will achieve RE100 (Renewable Energy 100%) & Zero Carbon Emission. Coway was selected as the Carbon Management Sector Honours for 10 consecutive years for a response to climate change. We promise to play our role as one global family.
We joined the United Nations Global Compact
We joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC) in June 2006 and adhered to its 10 principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. This fulfils our role as a corporate citizen – a citizen who pursues its growth and does its part to meet and go beyond its social responsibilities.
We implement Sustainable Development Goals
Following the adoption of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), we will strive to develop and implement solutions to achieve the SDGs and explore new opportunities for sustainable growth.
We support the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change
Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. At Coway, we want to be a positive player in climate change and ensure that it is kept at a safe level for communities and the environment worldwide. This requires important investments and collaborations. We have participated in the COP21 Voluntary Corporate Carbon Reduction Plan.
We are listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices World
Coway has been consistently named in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) Asia-Pacific since 2013 and DJSI World since 2016.
